Navy clerkships

This article basically lays out the information in the order you need it. First things first.

In January of your third year, you should start setting up your annual training (AT) for the current and following fiscal year which begins 01 Oct each year. You should schedule one clerkship at a Navy hospital for the June-September time-frame of the current fiscal year and your second clerkship for October or November (which falls in the final fiscal year of your 4th year of med school). That gives you an excellent Key Environmental Inc opportunity to make yourself known to two training sites of your choice before the Intern Selection Board in December 2008. Remember: Your current fiscal year AT must be completed by 30 September. If you schedule a Navy clerkship for September, you must complete return travel to your home by 30 September.
