January 2008 Fast Facts

Unifed above the pockets. Unless you have prior service, you are not authorized any ribbons at this time. Name tags go on the right. Name tags are usually issued by the individual commands. A plain black name tag with your last name in all caps in white lettering is recommended. 5)You should never wear a lab coat over the uniform when outside. 6)Shoes need to be regulation. Do not go to your local shoe store to purchase them. 7)For women, skirts are optional under most circumstances. For the basic uniform set, two pairs of khaki slacks are adequate. Men’s Uniforms

1. Description. They are gold stripes, black on green coats, in widths of either 2 inch, 1/2 inch, or 1/4 inch indicating the individual's rank.

2. Position. Stripes encircle the sleeve with the lower edge of the first stripe 2 inches from the edge of the sleeve. Multiple stripes have 1/4 inch intervals in between.

3. Entitlements Officers wear sleeve insignia as indicated below:


The Medical Corps insignia is places ¼” above the top of the stripe in the center/outside portion of the sleeve with the stem of the leaf pointing down.


Changes in contact information: HM2 Simenson has deployed, so students should not attempt to contact her for tuition issues. HM1 Beshers is now the contact person for any and all tuition issues.
